You mention that there is no baptism of John, son of Abel Bickle, in the Broadwoodwidger parish register. I have just obtained a copy of the will of Able Bickle, of Broadwoodwidger, who died in 1816. His will mentions his son John Bickle as well as his grandson John Bickle (son of his son John Bickle).
It also mentions his son Benjamin Bickle, but with no further information that would help you in your quest for the "right" Benjamin Bickle.

My own interest in the Broadwoodwidger Bickels is to determine what relationship, if any, Philip Bickel (known to be related to the family of my interest--that of Thomas ROCKEY) has to them.

Will (In the Estate Duty office) of Abel Bickle of Broadwoodwidger, yeoman, made July 8, 1812. Proved 19 Aug 1816. Widow, Elizabeth was sole Executrix.

      Effects valued under 800 pounds.

Children: John, Richard, Benjamin (left 100 pounds), Susanna Martyn the wife of John Martyn. Grandson John Bickle, with 4 other grandsons and 3 granddaughters. Other beneficiaries were Mary Hill wife of John Hill, Elizabeth Matter wife of William Matter [sic] and Joanna Smale, a widow.
The additional bequests to three women - Mary wife of John Hill, Elizabeth the wife of William Matter and Joanna Smale, a widow - correlate to the daughters of Abel's brother Tristram Bickle, and therefore would have been the nieces of Abel.
