IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I, JANE LEIGH, being sick in body, but in perfect memory do bequeth my Soul to Almighty God, And my body to the earth, do make this as my last Will and Testament.
Inprimis I give and bequeath to my daughter HONOR all my goods at Nothott as also my best gold ring, best petticoat, best gown
Item I give to my daughter GRACE five shillings as also my second best gown and coat and gould ing.
The rest of my clothes both of woollen and linen to be equally divided between them.
Item, I give to PRESCILLA ROWSE six pounds likewise my best waist coat.
Item I give to ISAAC ROWSE the younge one heife yealing, one acre of oats.
Item I give to MARY ROWSE one ace of oats.
Item I give to WILLIAM COLWILL one heife yealing.
Item I give to my servant JANE LAMERTON one smock and my green suite.
The est of my goods unbequeathed I give to my son JOHN LEIGH whom I make my sle Executor.

This Will was proved at London the one and twentieth day of November in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fifty and five before the Judges for probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorized by the oath of JOHN LEIGH the natural and lawful son of the said deceased and sole Executor named in this last Will and Testament of the said deceased to whom was committed Administration of all and singular the goods chattels and debts of the said deceased he the said JOHN LEIGH being first sworn in due form of law by virtue of a commission well and truly to administer the same.
